FAQ - Payments


Q: How and where can I make a payment?

A: Payments can be made several ways: 

  • In Person at the Financial Service Center:
102 Hahn Building (downstairs)
North Entrance
Monday – Friday
10 am – 12 noon and 1pm – 4 pm  (PST)

 

Payments made directly at the Financial Service Center during regular business hours will be processed the same day. 

  • Via Depository Drop Slot (exterior of Hahn Bldg. accessible 24 hours a day)

Payments dropped in the exterior depository after 1 pm PST regular business days will be processed and posted to account the following business day.

 

  • With eBill/ePay:
    • Payments through UCSC eBill/ePay are posted to your student account within one business day.  
  • By Mail: 
    • Payments via mail can be made with check, cashiers check, or money order. Please make checks payable to "UC Regents." Please be sure to put your student account id number on the check for proper posting. 

      Do not send cash through the mail.

      Note: Use of personal banking "online bill payment" services may delay payment of your account and may result in late fees or enrollment consequences.

 

If making payment on a due date, funds must be received no later than 12 noon PST to avoid late fees. 

 


 

Q: I am planning on paying my tuition and fees by check. Who do I make the check out to?

A: Please make all checks payable to: UC Regents

 


 

Q: Does UCSC accept credit card payments?

A: At this time UCSC does not accept credit cards for payment of your university bill. UCSC accepts eCheck payments, cash, checks, Western Union, or Moneygram. Use of banking "online bill payment" services may delay payment of your account and may result in late fees or enrollment consequences.

 


 

Q: How can I make an International Payment?

A: UCSC now accepts International Payments through flywire.

 


 

Q: I would like to wire my payment to the University. Where can I find the University's wiring instructions?

A:  UCSC is only able to process International Wire Transfers. For this information, please e-mail sbs@ucsc.edu. We will send you the instructions shortly. Unfortunately UCSC cannot accept Domestic Wire Transfers as a form of payment at this time (this means payments made from a bank inside the U.S.).
